Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then embark on a city tour of Kigali, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. After the experience, proceed with your journey to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy the picturesque views of hills, misty valleys, and various vegetation along the way. Located in the southwestern part of Uganda, the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to over half of the world's remaining population of rare Mountain Gorillas. Upon your arrival, check in to your accommodation.

Kigali Genocideminderstænket i Rwanda står som en hjerteskærende hyldest til ofrene for folkedrabet mod tutsierne i 1994. Indviet på folkedrabetes 10-årsdag ærer dette mindesmærke i Gisozi de 250.000 liv, der gik tabt, og oplyser om grusomhederne ved det 20. århundredes folkedrab.

Det igangværende projekt, Navnenes Mur, mindes de afdøde, hvor mange navne stadig venter på dokumentation. Mindesmærkets haver tilbyder et fredeligt rum til refleksion over folkedrabetes historie og opfordrer os alle til at tage personligt ansvar for at forhindre diskrimination og massegrusomheder.

To ensure safety for all, strict rules are in place, requiring visitors to adhere to instructions from park rangers. Securing permits in advance is essential, as they tend to sell out quickly. Please note that a permit for Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest costs $800 per person per day, with a minimum age requirement of 14 years.
